Ski Boat Rental of Manitoba Inc. is dedicated to providing the opportunity to
experience fun and safe recreation on the lakes and rivers of
Manitoba |
|
|
To ensure that all Hosts, Safety Spotters and Guests
enjoy a safe environment, the following Safety Policies
must be complied with at all times while engaged in
water sports as Guests of Ski Boat Rental of Manitoba Inc.
These policies are not negotiable and any determination
of compliance or non-compliance will be at the sole
discretion of your Host.
Failure to comply with any and all safety policies will
result in the immediate termination of the planned
activities without refund.
Guest Leaders should
ensure all members of their party have reviewed this web
page or been provided with a printed copy.
Each Guest in your party will be required to certify
they are aware of the Safety Policies as part of their
booking documentation.
Your Host will conduct a safety briefing prior to the
start of activities to remind all Guests of their safety
obligations. |
|
|
|
All
persons on board will wear life jackets (supplied) at
all times. |
|
|
No
Alcohol.
Breach of this simple policy is a violation
of Provincial boating regulations and will
be immediately referred to the nearest RCMP
detachment.
|
|
|
No Smoking.
Smoking cannot be permitted at any time on
the boat, around the boat or on any ramps
and staging areas used for loading and
unloading due to the presence of fuel
vapours exhausted from the boat's bilge
tanks.
(Fumes that collect in the enclosed engine
compartment are automatically exhausted into
the atmosphere. This happens often, with
blower fans coming on without warning to
vent the fumes.)
|
|
|
A
guardian must be on board for each person under 18.
Guests under 18 require a parent/guardian's
permission in addition to the normal
participation waiver.
|
|
|
Personal items brought on board will be strictly
limited.
Due to space limitations and safety
concerns,
Guests may bring only a
towel, sunglasses, sun protection and one
article of clothing, such as a cover-up for warmth, on board.
Guests should plan to store all valuables on
shore in a secure place prior to the scheduled start of activities.
|
|
|
All
verbal instructions must be followed.
Throughout the activities, your Host and
Safety Spotter will monitor the evolving
situation to ensure the safety of all
members of your party.
All
Guests must immediately comply with any and
all verbal instructions given by your Host
and/or Safety Spotter in conducting your
activities.
|
|
|
Any
person deemed to be in breach of any of the above
policies or deemed to be impaired or potentially impaired by
drugs, alcohol or for any other reason, at the sole
discretion of the Host, will be denied boarding to
ensure the safety of all Guests and Staff. |
